Ive been under a rock!

Hey readers! The title of this post is most fitting but not totally true :) where have I been for the last few months you ask? Well, last years season ended for me at the end of September. To be completely upfront I has worn-out from really pushing myself in every way for a year so this winter I gave myself real time to regroup. I put my clubs up for a few months and really worked on me. I re-entered the "real" world in my mind. I worked a job totally unrelated to anything I know, I dived into learning everything about nutrition, and I simply did what I needed to do. A lot of people including (well especially my family and close friends) thought I had gone completely crazy because no one including me knew when I would get back into what I've always known, golf. It was kinda scary not knowing.... but to me this is what I had to do so that when I did return I would be totally rejuvenated and passionate about going after my dream. And I was right :)
At the moment I am back in Auburn finishing up my degree in Business and loving being down here. I love being able to play and practice at so many courses it's just my place :) I've decided to play in the first Futures tour event next month in Florida and then another in April. If you've forgotten I am also in school at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to become a nutrition coach. So in may I will graduate from both schools! My goal is to be able to help others with their health concerns while I travel the world golfing :) I know this blog is such a great avenue for that! So as im learning and growing I intend to pass along things along to you all. Well so far this is all :) im staying healthy and busy living the life I love! And always thanks for tuning in :)

Rain follows golfers no question about it

Its the last week for the Lpga Futures Tour in Albany, Ny and what do you know.....rain. Fortunately, the weekend looks like good weather so I will be totally ready to tee it up. My caddy/ dad and I arrives here on Saturday and have been working hard on mapping out the greens by putting and chipping from everywhere. Its that kind of work that really matters in the end. Its always nice to be able to come up to a putt or chip and have a really good idea how its going to react....and that kind of information creates confidence which as we know is invaluable. This week I've really been busting a tush with my short game and Im proud to say that im seeing an improvement. Hopefully I'll get to play the course again before Friday.... but tomorrow isn't looking too optimistic :( Anyways..... I hope you all will follow me this week! (www.lpgafuturestour.com)

Until next time!
